Beyond being a goal to aspire to, what does “bringing your full self” to work look like? And if leaders really want to make this statement come true, what needs to happen in our workplaces for employees to actually feel like they can bring their full selves to work?

According to diversity and mental wellness coach, Ymani Hawkins, the first step is building psychological safety. This means leaders need to set the standard for what it looks like to be vulnerable at work. This, in turn, will encourage folks to adopt this behavior.
