On this episode of Just One Q, Dominique chats with guest Nancy Lyons, the CEO and co-founder of Clockwork, and an outspoken advocate for making work better, more inclusive, flexible, and adaptable. They discuss how we all have a role to play in shifting workplace culture for the better.
Nancy is a powerful speaker, and she’s had over 150 speaking appearances since 2010. Her refreshing message, in a nutshell, is that it’s on us: leaders, employees, teams. We all have to take responsibility for creating cultures and spaces that actually work for humans, with all their complexities, nuances, and intricacies. And in doing so, we will make better products, better experiences, and have better work lives.
She’s the author of two books: Interactive Project Management: People, Pixels, and Process. And, her latest, Work Like a Boss: a Kick in the pants guide to finding and using your power at work.
Working through the complexities of diversity, equity & inclusion training requires open and consistent dialogue on all parts. We want to learn from you, too.
Do you want to be featured as a guest to share what you know about diversity in the workplace? Do you know someone else who would make a good fit? Do you have feedback about how we can improve our podcast in the future?
