Steve Bland, Ph.D. is a leading researcher in the way people create and apply information, both individually and within organizations. As part of Dialectic’s research and development collaboration with The University of Western Ontario, Huron College, Steve recently delivered a talk to our clients and partners about taking the next steps in boosting their organization’s performance by improving critical thinking skills.

In this talk, Steve argues that there are important limitations to past and present approaches to critical thinking that focus solely on the individual. He then proposes a promising new direction that urges business leaders to develop systems that consider the interplay between individual and collective thought.
